This is a small town cemetery, and a very small one it is. Not so small that it can't be the most
confusingly frightening one we have been to in a long while.
It sits at the corner of a relatively busy intersection, just outside of the main part of the town. Surrounded
by farmer's fields, the wind blows at weird intervals through this place.
The night we went, it was chilly, hadn't rained in a couple of days, wasn't about to.
You could look up and see the stars through a very thin layer of clouds, don't remember seeing the
moon at all.
It seemed as though this was going to be just another night of orb chasing.
We entered the cemetery off the main road, drove around and parked facing the front, my standard M.O., LOL.
Just in case, you understand.
We were weirded out, (is that a word?), from the moment we stepped out of the car.
It felt as if there were eyes watching our every move.
Normally, we get out and spread out. We couldn't stay close enough together that night.
At one point near the end,
I mentioned that they must be lonely to keep such close tabs on us, and at that moment, the wind actually picked up hard enough to make each of us lose our breath. It started getting extremely cold, the wind would not stop, so we literally ran back to the car.
Holy Cow!!
Tracey is our Rock, and even she was nervous, beating me to the car by a whole three seconds.
What a night.
We are Michigan ghosthunters,
a group of paranormal investigators
in the Detroit area, looking for evidence of
hauntings, spiritual and ghost
activity in St Joseph Cemetery, through photos, and voice
recordings, or EVPS.
I actually do have some EVPS from this date, but I am running out of time, all the time.
So many cemeteries and haunted places......
So very many other things I need to do
to keep my family running....
PS. I wish someone would pay me to do this!!
