This is a very attractive cemetery, situated, just as the name implies, on the edge of a lake. It is surrounded

by a wrought iron fence and some brickwork. It appears to be very well maintained, pathways appear to be

cleared of brush and debris rather regularly, because any grass that dared to creep up onto the asphalt, was pushed back.

It has several large crypts, built into some small hills on the far side.

These were very interesting and drew us to that location.

We went during the daylight hours, in fact, just as early evening was beginning to lengthen the shadows.

The perfect time.

.........Nyah, ha ha..........

I took many photos of the area. I had come up to the

area to visit some sites I had been told about, and the rest of the group was simply

wandering about with us, enjoying the place.

See the long shadows?

Look for a Shadow man near the center of the picture.

They are not transparent.

They block out nearly everything behind them.

This is why they are so scary to the living, I believe.

Look closely.

In the cropped photo above,

he is in the center.

You cannot see through him.

He actually looks like a tree stump or marker in complete darkness.

But he is not.

I have enlarged the cropped photo so you can see,

he blocks out all light.

For those of you who truly believe there is a tree stump or marker in this spot

being mistaken for a

Shadowman,

look below.

there is a headstone to his right

and a tree to his left--

But he is definitely

NOT a tree

or a marker.
