When we first started going to this place, it was pretty much the
most active place I had ever been.
Hidden from public view, it was very close to being abandoned. Many people who
had relatives there, simply stopped coming by, because it was a
pretty darned scary place. It was incredibly overgrown, with giant bushes that were
left on their own to grow wild.
Nestled beside a small stream in a ravine, there are mobile homes on the other side.
And you do have to cross private property to get to it, so be very careful and
ask permission first.
I have been followed all the way through this place, whispered at,
warned and threatened.
But my favorite incident, was being pinched,
on the bum,
by a Not-Too-Gentle
hand.
In this EVP, I had been in the cemetery for a bit of a while, and decided to go back to my car for the bug spray. This was recorded at the entrance, as I walked past a young girl who hid behind a tree. I could feel her fear as I went past her, but I could not hear her voice. It sounds to us like she is saying, "Can't you see him? Get out!" Listen to the background sound. That clopping sound is
what followed me around the entire time I was there that day. I never heard it again.
This is the clip where you can hear me hollering out after I get pinched. To tell you
the truth, I couldn't believe it when it happened. Whoever did it also said an unknown word just
before or just as it happens. I have never been able to figure out what he says in this EVP. I think
it is the 'clopper', because the sound stops when the word is spoken and the incident happens.
I was outside the cemetery and had just finished running down the side of the ravine. The 'clopper'did not run with me, but as I am speaking to the recorder, you can clearly hear
it running down the hill to catch up with me. It sounds like it jumps over something in a couple of places. When I slow up and walk at a normal pace, it does too. I am also talking with Gloria Notter,
my friend, who speaks very softly. I have to tell you, I carry only my camera and tape recorder.
I am not an equipment hound, and I had nothing on my person that could have made that
sound. I have been asked that question too many times for me to ignore it here.
Not a lot to say about this one. The 'clopper' is still tracking me, and it is up near the front
of the place that this woman speaks so sadly. This EVP is just after you hear me say, "Whoa", that
she says, "why can't I..............leave?" She puts a lot of emphasis on the word 'leave' .
Can you blame her?
This is a very interesting EVP. Gloria had just asked me if she could go and visit some
relatives' sites on the other side of the cemetery. She wanted to pay her respects, so I
told her that was fine. I would just wait way over here, all by myself, alone.
And, very quietly, listen for the voice that whispers, "You're not alone....."
So here we are, me and Gloria, just walking along, talking quietly with each other, and a voice starts whispering,
"Come in here.....come here.........c'mon.........."
I am standing in a cold spot and my skin is one big goose bump. I ask whoever I think I am
standing by, "What is your name?" and in this EVP, a man whispers something
we think sounds like
"Hall".
I am with Gloria and her daughter, Harlee, and we are trying to listen to a voice. On the recording, you can hear a man's whisper, "Thanks for that..." and then , "Do you (schtill?) hear it?", after which Harlee says, "Do you hear it?".

PHOTOS
Here we are, moving around in the back of the place.
The light in the center at the top,
is a light refraction off
my camera lens.
The sun
is about two inches above the top of the photo.
I want to say that the little light ball to the left is an insect, but this whole place has such a strange feel to it, that I really am not all that sure.
Now, when you roll your cursor over, it is almost the direct opposite of the first shot. I simply continued to walk forward till I was at the edge of the woods. I turned around and took another shot.
And there it is again.
This was Ash Cemetery a few years ago, before they cleaned it up and
chopped down
most of the trees. An extremely active cemetery, the time of day made very little difference
